Center for Nonprofit Studies Community Leadership Council
The Center for Nonprofit Studies (CNS) recognizes that to strengthen nonprofit practice requires the integration and engagement of diverse perspectives in determining CNS’s strategic initiatives. To this end, the CNS Community Leadership Council offers advice and counsel to the CNS’s professional leadership on matters affecting the overall health and well-being of the Central Texas Nonprofit Sector, as well as making individual and collective recommendations on learning opportunities and other initiatives to help CNS fulfill its mission. Its members serve as integral links between CNS, local agencies, government, business and other communities; sharing their interests, needs and concerns; and interpreting Center initiatives to those with whom they have connections. CNS Community Leadership Council members are appointed by the CNS Director to serve a term of one year and may be reappointed without limit.
