Embracing Mistakes – 2 Part Series
November 9 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm$30.00 - $60.00
Making mistakes is an inevitable part of life.
Learning to navigate, embrace, and learn from mistakes is key to remaining growth-oriented.
In improv theatre, performers learn strategies and tools to embrace mistakes, re-frame mistakes as learning opportunities, and to use mistakes as conduits to finding connection and co-creation with others.
This workshop will blend this pedagogy with interpersonal neurobiology and communication frameworks, and teach you a model and concrete tools that you can use to better understand your own relationship with mistakes, to assess the gap between your intention and impact, and how to create a personal and workplace culture that embraces and understands how to move forward from mistakes – and how to embrace the gifts that they can bring.
This is an interactive workshop that will utilize improv activities, games, and didactic learning to support you in your journey towards remaining growth.
In this workshop, we’ll explore improv exercises, activities, and games that teach tangible skills that we can apply to our lives as we navigate the inevitability of making mistakes while remaining growth-oriented.
This live, hands-on inactive workshop is open to all
