Principles and Practices: A guide for nonprofit volunteers, board members, managers and staff was released in April 2015 and hundreds of copies have already been distributed. The 11 accountability principles described in it, along with the 190 management practices, provide specific guidelines for organizations to evaluate and improve their operations, planning, governance, human resources, advocacy, financial management, fundraising, volunteer management, and overall organizational culture. And did we mention that the publication is FREE as part of our Center’s mission of strengthening our nonprofit sector’s effectiveness.
